Scope of Services

Provide additional software configuration, development and integration capabilities to the Justice and Public Safety Professional Services team

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, or related field
  • Cumulative 8 or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • 4 or more years of professional consulting experience involving implementation, configuration and customization of applications for deployment at customer sites
  • 4 or more years Software Development and Relational Database Experience – preference will be given to candidates with experience of working in a professional software R&D department.
  • Understanding of data integration methodologies and concepts
  • Experience working as part of a team that is delivering software installation and configuration or data Integration services to a strict project schedule.
  • Accurately assess levels of effort and be able to report progress
  • Experience developing and managing internal unit and integration test processes as well as working with the customer during formal acceptance testing including management and remediation of defects identified during this phase of a project
  • Experience in a customer facing role with the ability to interact with the a customer’s technical and business users to elicit and verify requirements, provide technical and or functional level presentations
  • Exposure to SAS products, with emphasis on DI Studio and Visual Analytics
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.

 

Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement stated above.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with people of various technical and business backgrounds, including the ability to explain difficult technical concepts in simple terms to business users

  • Ability to work as an individual or part of a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Prior experience of the Memex product set would be advantageous, but not necessary as training will be provided.

Preferences:

  • Experience using, deploying and configuring SAS or similar products, in particular SAS Memex Platform, Data Integration Studio and Visual Analytics.
  • Work location in Cary, NC preferred
